Health Transparency Note

We strive to ensure every animal is as healthy as possible before adoption. However, transition stress can sometimes lead to minor illnesses (like a URI). We disclose all known medical history and current health status during the adoption process. We also provide a good faith estimate of the cost of medications for any animal with a known pre-existing condition.

Medical Records Note

You will receive a complete copy of your pet’s medical records at the time of adoption. We recommend bringing these records to your first appointment with your private veterinarian, which should take place within the first 14 days of adoption.
