September, 2011: In pursuit of the coveted Silver Award, Girl Scout Kat N. from Hull, built and installed a new climbing structure for our feral cats' outdoor enclosure. The project took Kat 50+ hours and many letters and phone calls to local businesses and individuals who were solicited for the durable materials. Peg Doyle is the leader of Troop 74000 with girls in grades 6-8 from many towns in the South Shore region. Aspen the cat investigated immediately, and loved it!
Vinal Elementary School 5th graders held a donation drive and delivered goodies for the animals.
Kristina R. requested gifts for the animals in celebration of her 10th birthday.
Charlotte and Trevor T. bring a wonderful wish list donation to the animals.
