Staff & Volunteers
The Shelter has two full-time staff members, the Director and an Animal Care Coordinator. There are also two part-time employees who are assisted by more than 120 trained, qualified volunteers from across the greater South Shore region. Our “Volunteer family” is responsible for adoption counseling, animal feeding, socializing, exercising and medicating if necessary, housekeeping duties and clerical duties, as well as all “business-related” functions such as finance, fundraising, personnel coordination, technical support and marketing/promotion/communications.
