New Building
In June 2009, the Shelter relocated to a new facility on Route 3A in Scituate. Professionally designed and set on 5 acres, the 3,600 square foot building provides space indoors for 16 dogs and up to 50 cats/kittens, plus a room for “small furry or feathered” animals, a generous food preparation area and space for veterinary exams. On the property there is ample visitor parking, shed storage, one large and one small fenced exercise area for dogs, an outdoor enclosure for our feral cat population and walking paths for resident dogs on leash.
